Carrier Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and Secure Carriers: Procure, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and grow carrier relationships through lead generation, cold-calling, and referrals.
- Analyze Market Conditions: Effectively analyze carriers and freight market conditions to best meet our customers' freight needs.
- Meet Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly sales margin expectations and ensure carrier service levels and KPIs are met.
- Communicate Effectively: Proactively communicate with carriers and sales teams to fulfill commitments and exceed service expectations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or management preferred.
- Inside sales or account management experience preferred.
- Skill Set: Strong negotiation skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and multi-tasking ability.
- Culture Fit: Team player who can connect with others but also produce independent results.
