Job Summary

The Vascular Care Group is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in a Vascular Office-Based Lab setting. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with clinical leadership to ensure the smooth operation of our office-based lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the standards of AAAASF and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Assist with daily operations, including reviewing scheduled cases, maintaining infection control, stocking medications and supplies, and ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Provide patient care, including overseeing patient experience from pre-procedure to discharge, ensuring timely communication with patients, and providing post-procedure call backs.
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history, and ensure that patient medical records are comprehensive and complete.
  • Assist with management of the Quality Assurance Program and maintain safety standards within the center according to AAASF requirements.
  • Assist with overseeing equipment maintenance and checking according to AAAASF standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, minimum of BSN.
  • Registered as a nurse in the state of Connecticut.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • ICU or ED experience required, PACU experience helpful.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and follow oral and written instructions precisely.
  • Willingness to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
