Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will provide direct services to children, adolescents, and their families, including evaluation and assessment, medication management, psychotherapy, and education. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage clients through direct care encounters, including prescription and management of medication, lab orders, and education to clients and families.
  • Update treatment plans weekly and complete timely documentation according to established standards.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatrists regarding shared cases and treatment teams, and provide cross-coverage to Psychiatry team cases as needed.
  • Assist with patient admissions, including initial evaluations and initial assessment documentation, and provide collateral/liaison contact to patient families and outpatient providers.
  • Complete discharge recommendation assessments as part of collaborative discharge summaries and assist with utilization reviews for clients.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents and be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state in which they are applying.
