Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist with The Vascular Care Group, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient procedural facility. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic imaging principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with preparing patients for surgical procedures by positioning and prepping, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of exams.
• Effectively operate C-Arm equipment to perform x-rays, practicing radiation safety control and maintaining optimal equipment performance.
• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper file identification on all images, reviewing examination images and finalizing them in PACS.
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure equipment operates at optimal levels, prioritizing assigned work based on workflow fluctuations and providing detailed and accurate procedure information for collection in databases as needed.
• Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations, completing tasks as per management request and adhering to Standards of Care, facility, and regulatory requirements, as well as ARRT Standards of Ethics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) state of CT license required.
• 1-4 years of experience in general radiologic technologist preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization, as well as willingness to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
• Ability to adequately use the department's computerized system and its associated devices.
