Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering necessary information and supplies.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or APRNs.
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by physicians or APRNs.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients and families through phone calls and in-person interactions.
- Document patient information and test results in our electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and practice operations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and administer medications.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, 7 days a week, with flexibility to accommodate part-time scheduling options.
