Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering necessary information and supplies.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or APRNs.
  • Administer injections and medications as prescribed by physicians or APRNs.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients and families through phone calls and in-person interactions.
  • Document patient information and test results in our electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and practice operations.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and administer medications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is 8 hours per day, 7 days a week, with flexibility to accommodate part-time scheduling options.
