Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Payroll Specialist to join our team at Future Ford of Roseville. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and compile payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Compute wages and deductions, review for accuracy, and post to payroll records.
  • Prepare and issue paychecks.
  • Keep records of leave pay, including PTO, sick leave, and protected leaves of absence.
  • Distribute and collect timecards each pay period.
  • Prepare and file all hiring and termination paperwork, including COBRA letters.
  • Process employee insurance forms and insurance payments in coordination with the office manager.
  • Process prospective employees through the prescreening process.
  • Process employee information through onboarding.
  • Maintain employment records.
  • Audit employee, benefit, and payroll files.
  • Communicate payroll issues and solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and neat work area.
  • Process garnishments and wage withholding orders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll.
  • ADP Workforce now a PLUS***.
  • Automotive payroll experience is a requirement.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Positive attitude and demeanor.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals.
  • Applicable manufacturers certifications.
  • Ability to comply with all dealership policies, procedures, standards, and deadlines.
