Key Responsibilities
  • Sell MSC products and services to government agencies and contractors, with a focus on growing sales and achieving individual and corporate sales goals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with government agencies and contractors, and grow existing business to contribute to the achievement of corporate sales goals.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction, consistent with MSC standards, culture, and business practices.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals, and monitor and report on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to problems and improve sales performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of government procurement processes and procedures, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 2+ years outside sales experience required; government sales experience preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of procurement processes and sales theory/skills required; excellent communication skills required.
  • Basic computer literacy desired; valid driver's license required.
  • Position requires daily local travel within branch or market territory; occasional overnight travel required.
Benefits
  • Starting salary range: $78,050 - $122,650 depending on experience.
  • Variable commission target based on location and portfolio size.
