We are currently seeking dedicated Production Workers to enhance our manufacturing team.

Looper Machine Operators play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of the Looper machinery. They are tasked with conducting daily equipment checks at the start of their shifts.

Utilizing the SAP manufacturing system, operators will confirm that materials are not on Q-hold and that the correct materials are being utilized for production runs.

Additionally, operators will receive a daily schedule from their supervisor outlining the sequence of blocks to be processed.


Key Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in machinery operation is advantageous.

Core Functions:
- Review daily production data using computer manufacturing software to determine work assignments.

- Adhere to required PPE and follow all relevant Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).

- Prepare and clean blocks prior to cutting.

- Document production run details.

- Verify foam type, run number, and block dimensions to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Measure length, width, gauge, and thickness, entering information into provided templates and spreadsheets.

- If specified, assist in convoluting and compressing materials.

- Generate and affix roll labels.

- Assign locations for all produced and stored rolls.

- Maintain proper PPE usage during equipment operation.

- Ensure daily cleanup and organization of workstations.

- Conduct inventory checks and manage materials in bins.

Additional Duties:
- Uphold departmental standards for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and work orders meticulously.

- Maintain accurate SAP defect reporting.

- Utilize computer manufacturing software for daily production reporting, retrieving Bills of Material (BOM), and checking inventory levels.

- Communicate with Quality Assurance regarding any discrepancies or inquiries.

- Participate in routine departmental meetings as required.

- Conduct monthly cycle counts and inventory as necessary.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.

- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping protocols.

- Actively participate in the FXI Safety Program.

- Follow established Safe Work Practices, including the use of safety glasses or goggles, hazard communication, forklift certification, and gloves.
