We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities and staff
  • Provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and confirm appointments with patients and/or their families
  • Perform insurance verification and pre-authorizations as necessary
  • Enter patient demographic information and scan documents into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Correspond with referring providers and patients for reports, information exchange, scheduling, and paperwork

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • Ability to work onsite at any of our facilities as needed
  • Ability to work any shift between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday, with rotating Saturdays, including occasional overtime based on business need
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of related work experience, including data entry
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
