Counseling Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Counseling Services Specialist to join our team at KGA Inc. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling and a minimum of 3 years' postgraduate experience. They will be licensed to the highest degree in MA and have a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
The successful candidate will provide short-term, solution-focused treatment to individual adults and/or couples referred to them by our EAP Counseling staff. They will conduct 45-minute counseling sessions via telephone and/or video and assess clients to determine if they need assistance or additional treatment beyond the EAP sessions.
We are looking for someone who is culturally competent with diverse, multi-cultural, and LGBTQIA+ populations and has experience with solution-focused work, trauma-informed care, substance misuse, couple's treatment, stress management, mindfulness, and grief counseling.
The successful candidate will work part-time or full-time, depending on the needs of the organization, and will be eligible for KGA's generous PTO policy, Short Term Disability, 1x salary Life Insurance, and Simple IRA with up to 3% company match.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide short-term, solution-focused treatment to individual adults and/or couples

- Work with other members of the KGA team to assist clients in finding additional resources as needed
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Minimum of 3 years' postgraduate experience
- Licensed to the highest degree in MA
- Foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with solution-focused work, trauma-informed care, substance misuse, couple's treatment, stress management, mindfulness, and grief counseling
- Culturally competent with diverse, multi-cultural, and LGBTQIA+ populations
- Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
Work Arrangements:
We are looking for full or part-time Counselors for evenings and/or weekends. Part-time employees working more than 24 hours are eligible for KGA's generous PTO policy, Short Term Disability, 1x salary Life Insurance, and Simple IRA with up to 3% company match. Full-time employees are eligible for these benefits plus our medical, dental, Vision, and HSA plans.
