Job Summary

MAB Community Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide support to participants in cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership in accordance with their individual support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to participants in daily living activities, including bathing, cooking, cleaning, and toileting.
  • Assist participants in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with friends and family members.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and provide positive behavioral supports to participants.
  • Ensure a safe and clean home environment for all participants.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles and wheelchair vans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, their families, and community professionals.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent walking, standing, and driving required.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of energy in a fast-paced environment.
