Job Summary

This leadership role oversees the growth and development of our Surveying team in Southern California, reporting directly to the Director of the Survey Division. As Regional Survey Manager, you will lead a survey team, maintain existing client relationships, and drive business development by marketing surveying services to new and existing clients such as Public Agencies, Developers, Schools Districts, Universities, Energy Producers, and Water Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with clients, office staff, and field crews to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for survey projects.
  • Manage survey projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and manage employees, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in land surveying, with PLS certification.
  • Solid experience in project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to manage technical teams and work effectively with peers, project managers, and clients.
  • Experience in business development, obtaining new and repeat business.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and the location of Irvine, California.
