We are seeking a highly experienced Field Development Manager to lead our survey team in the Southern California region.

Job Summary:

This is a leadership role that involves managing a survey team, maintaining existing client relationships, and conducting business development by marketing surveying services to new and existing clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles and theory, as well as experience in project management, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and coordinate survey work with clients, office staff, and field crews.
  • Conduct business development with existing and new clients.
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for survey projects.
  • Manage survey projects and ensure they are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' progressively responsible work experience in land surveying.
  • PLS certification required.
  • Solid experience in project management (including budgeting oversight), organization, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a technical team and work effectively with peers, project managers, team members, and clients, in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience in business development, obtaining new and repeat business.
Salary and Benefits:
