Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Distribution Center employees. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for handling confidential information, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining employee and company records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to employees, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, benefits orientation, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Collect and prepare information for various reports, including employee data and company metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and company records.
  • Provide administrative support to department leadership and other teams as needed.
  • Interact with internal and external customers, including employees, management, and vendors.
Requirements
  • 3 years of current administrative-type experience working with customers (internal and external).
  • 2 years of current Human Resources experience with a solid understanding of related terminology.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize independent discretion, judgment, and knowledge of company policies and employment regulations.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude, and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, frequent use of keyboard and mouse, and occasional lifting/carrying of materials/product weighing up to 50 lbs.
