Company: Erik's Bike Shop Inc

Overview: The Warehouse Processing Lead, under the supervision of the Warehouse/Assistant Warehouse Manager, is tasked with overseeing daily order processing, stock selection, and inventory management to meet Erik's high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Execute daily inbound receiving and order processing in accordance with established priority protocols.
    • Support Drivers with outgoing shipments.
    • Ensure inventory security measures are upheld.
    • Engage with the Purchasing Team for effective communication.
    • Contribute to shift meetings for operational updates.
    • Complete daily receiving checklists.
    • Assist in order selection and inventory replenishment.
    • Help with the unloading of incoming freight.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Guide the team to meet daily operational targets.
    • Report performance metrics to Management.
    • Collaborate with Management on special project planning.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain necessary equipment certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in Distribution or Retail settings.
  • Skills:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Capability to work both collaboratively and independently.
    • Familiarity with RMS systems.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
    • Flexibility in shift scheduling and commitment to duties.

Working Environment:

  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended durations.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy items.
  • Exposure to various chemicals may occur.
  • Work will be conducted in a warehouse setting.
