Fairfax Neonatal Associates, P.C. is a reputable private practice group dedicated to providing exceptional care in neonatal medicine. We are currently seeking full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologists to enhance our team.

Our NICU Facilities
The FNA NICU is affiliated with a leading children's hospital in Northern Virginia, featuring a 108-bed, Level IV NICU. Our facility manages approximately 1,500 NICU admissions and 11,000 newborn deliveries each year. We are equipped with advanced therapeutic options, including therapeutic hypothermia and access to ECMO, supported by a comprehensive pediatric subspecialty network.

Specialized Care Units
Our NICU includes a dedicated Small Baby Unit, focusing on the critical care of preterm infants starting from 22 weeks gestation. We also provide coverage at several Level III NICUs across multiple hospitals.

Quality and Recognition
Our NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford Network and consistently ranks in the top decile for neonatal care metrics. We have been recognized among the top 50 children's hospitals for neonatal care by reputable health publications.

Candidate Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics and Board Certification/Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Valid Virginia Medical License, DEA registration, and NRP Certification.

Physical Demands
This role involves patient care across various locations, requiring mobility and the ability to perform medical procedures. Candidates should be prepared for rotation between hospital sites and on-call responsibilities.
