Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Internal Medicine team at Mayo Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality hospital-based care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a high-acuity, dynamic, and collaborative hospital setting.
- Partner with physicians to complete admissions, daily hospital visits, discharges, and consultations.
- Work 12-hour shifts, including daytime shifts, swing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Participate in leadership roles, such as committee involvement and team projects, to improve patient care and the practice.
Qualifications
- Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program, or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current AZ RN and APRN license, or PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, and flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient and staff needs.
