Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in a family practice setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, take medical histories, and make preliminary diagnoses of disease, illness, and injury.
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories.
- Identify short-term and long-range patient care issues and provide information and recommendations to patients.
- Order diagnostic tests and interpret test results.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care.
- Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient care plans and recording progress.
- Work in triage and make decisions on patient care needs.
- Maintain outpatient records and record statistics, conduct research, and compile reports as needed.
- Perform referrals to specialists and write prescriptions for medications and equipment.
Requirements:
- Completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in family practice.
- Current approval by the Joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Arizona.
- Master of Science in Health Sciences or related field.
