Opportunity Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled Radiology NP or PA to join our team in the Greater Phoenix area. As a key member of our radiology team, you will have the opportunity to work with a cohesive and innovative team, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults, consents, and rounding.
  • Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients.
  • Order laboratory and radiographic studies.
  • Assist with radiology procedures, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, image-guided IV access, and fluoroscopy examinations.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
  • Assist with patient education, follow-up, and discharge notes.
  • Assist with training of new APP hires.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Additional duties as assigned by clinical or operational leadership.
Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • PA Requirements:
    • Degree as a Physician Assistant.
    • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
    • Background in pre-med preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology PA strongly preferred.
    • Ability to perform procedures requiring fine motor skills, including repetitive handwork.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision.
    • AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License.
    • NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
    • Valid DEA registration.
    • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff.
  • NP Requirements:
    • Master's Degree in nursing.
    • Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners.
    • Compact state or Arizona RN license.
    • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license.
    • Surgical First Assist certification.
    • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology NP strongly preferred.
    • Ability to perform procedures requiring fine motor skills, including repetitive handwork.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision.
    • National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations.
    • ACNP certification preferred.
    • Valid DEA registration.
    • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff.
Pay Range

$76.14/hour
