Senior Administrative Specialist: Open Records

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Specialist to join our team in the Open Records department. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide advanced support to our division, ensuring the efficient and effective management of records and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and maintain various reports, forms, and informational materials related to assigned division.
- Ensure comprehensive filing systems are maintained and up-to-date, with accurate and secure storage of sensitive information.
- Assist in planning and executing special projects and events, including Open Records Requests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Perform data entry and verification tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with policy and procedure updates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and process purchasing card transactions, statements, and invoices.
- Review and maintain stock inventory, processing purchase requisitions as needed.
- Attend meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of clerical experience in a professional office environment preferred.
- Valid driver's license required within one year of employment.
- TCIC certification, Public Information Act certification, and FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 certifications required for Open Records Assignment.
