We are currently seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to contribute to the Counter Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS) Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) web application development initiative. This role involves researching, designing, prototyping, modeling, and communicating various validated solutions to the development team for execution. The position offers flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and research efficient solutions for a cloud-based, containerized database web application.
  • Prototype concepts to validate functionality prior to transferring to the development team.
  • Create comprehensive SysML models in Cameo for product features.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ascertain system requirements.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions to stakeholders and developers.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper implementation and testing of designs.
  • Guide junior architects and developers in modeling and software development best practices.
  • Deliver detailed solutions for high-level, abstract features concerning user authentication, permissions, database storage, product testing, system automation, and component communication related to web application development.
  • Stay updated on relevant EMW capabilities across industry, government, and academia.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with eight (8)+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with six (6)+ years of relevant experience. Direct experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong teamwork experience.
  • Six (6)+ years of experience using SysML or UML diagramming software (Cameo, Visual Paradigm, etc.) for model development.
  • In-depth understanding of information technology principles, including network engineering practices, containerization, cloud computing, system backups, automation, object-oriented programming, CI/CD pipelines, web servers, and database servers.
  • Ability to work independently and provide timely feedback to project stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with integrating C-sUAS systems.
  • Proficiency in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AWS cloud, git, SMTP, RESTful API.
  • Strong capability for independent research to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to articulate concepts at both managerial and technical levels.
Familiarity/Expertise with the following is highly desired:
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, PHP, SOAP, REST, Linux, databases, cryptography, containerization, OOP, Infrastructure as Code, client authentication, transaction-based development.
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
