Job Summary:

The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for computer hardware and software applications for our employees and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and consulting with vendors for various services
  • Accessing end clients' needs for hardware, software, services, and support
  • Implementing processes, systems, tools, and applications
  • Working in a team to complete various IT-related projects in a timely manner
  • Performing related duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provides escalation (L2) support to other internal groups/departments as needed
  • Installs, configures, and documents hardware and software for end-user services
  • Manages multi-functional printers (MFPs) for network printing, faxing, and scanning
  • Manages update/patching processes, including firmware updates, software updates, operating system updates, desktop updates, network appliance updates, and firewall updates
  • Manages and administers Active Directory for both on-premises and Azure AD accounts

Requirements:

  • At least four (4) years of experience in the following areas: multi-campus networking environment, monitoring security solutions, including EDR & MDR systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Networking, Active Directory, Meraki hardware, Cisco hardware, Nutanix/VMware, hardware configuration, internet/intranet configurations, email systems, telecommunications and data communications, hardware inventory management, computer operating systems, software deployment, software patching, software inventory management, and help desk experience
  • Working Conditions: The employee must have transportation available to travel to and from offices and for required offsite projects and site visits

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field

Desired Certifications:

CCNE, MSCE, CompTIA server, Nutanix/VMware certified
