Administrative Clerk Senior

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk Senior to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our faculty and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Process and scan documents, including mail and electronic submissions, into ImageNow Perceptive Content Software.
- Download and manage Secure File Transfer file submissions, sending receipt confirmations as needed.
- Assign physician/clinic numbers and respond to reporting facilities.
- Respond to KCR-related emails and input return receipts, SFT download emails, phone conversations, and other important information into the ACT database.
- Answer and transfer phone calls, assisting callers with their requests.
- Prepare documents for shredding and send vital statistics and quarterly reports via SFT to reporting facilities.
- Verify facility lists and send updated contact information forms to hospitals, physician clinics, pathology labs, surgery centers, and radiation clinics.
- Order office supplies and contact facilities by email or phone as needed.
- Send file submission reminders and assist with the annual spring meeting.
- Associate's degree in business administration, education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary education and work experience.
- One year of work experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
- Experience working with a team.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, health expense accounts, employer-paid life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and various additional voluntary insurance plans. Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave, begins accruing upon hire, plus ten paid holidays. One paid discretionary day is available after six months of employment, and paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, military service, and parental leave is available after 12 months of employment. A retirement program with a generous employer contribution and additional voluntary retirement programs (457 or 403b) are available.
CompensationThe pay range for this position is $30.76 per hour, with a minimum of $21.97 and a midpoint of $26.37. A reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account education, experience, and qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding.
