Job Summary

At equivant, we're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll work with the latest technology to ensure the high quality of our software solutions for the U.S. court system.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and analyze software product applications to ensure high quality and eliminate programming issues.
  • Oversee the correct functioning of applications and ensure new feature and company standard requirements are met before product release.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Development Managers/Team Leads, and Software Engineers to formulate and complete testing plans and scripts.
  • Assist Customer Care Agents and Implementation Specialists in trouble-shooting complex functionality issues at customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing of complex software applications and object-oriented and multi-tiered systems.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with and use of structured query language (SQL) and database knowledge.
  • Excellent collaboration and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capability of working on large-scale software projects and/or multiple product lines and versions simultaneously.
  • Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Aha or similar software development tracking software.
  • Familiarity with Court and Judicial Systems.
