Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete preparation of business and individual tax returns
  • Inspire, develop, and mentor team members

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax legislation
  • Deliver thorough tax planning advice and strategies to clients
  • Investigate complex tax matters and formulate tax planning solutions
  • Evaluate tax returns prepared by others for accuracy and compliance

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation
  • At least 5 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting environment
  • Master's degree in Taxation (preferred)
  • CPA certification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters Suite (preferred)
  • Strong skills in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality and work autonomously with minimal oversight
