Job Title: Naval Architect for Ship Design and Engineering Support

Job Summary:

Pantheon Data is seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our Ship Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the United States Coast Guard on a variety of acquisition and sustainment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stability studies and assist with inclining experiments and weight and stability tests
  • Oversee design development and ensure compliance with USN, USCG, IACS, and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations
  • Experience with computer applications relating to naval architecture and ship design
  • Familiarity with corrosion principles of metals for surface assets and boats

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in naval architecture or marine engineering
  • DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred
  • BS or MS in a technical, engineering, or marine field
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Work Environment:

This position is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.).

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
