Job Title: Naval Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team at Pantheon Data. As a key member of our Ship Design Team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the United States Coast Guard on various acquisition and sustainment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document tests, including stability, speed, power, maneuvering, and seakeeping trials;
  • Utilize naval architecture software to solve complex problems related to hull design;
  • Apply knowledge of corrosion principles of metals for surface assets and boats;
  • Ensure compliance with USN, USCG, IACS, and commercial ship design rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering, designing functional internal and topside arrangements for marine vessels;
  • 1+ year of federal ship or boat building experience;
  • DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs preferred;
  • PE, PMP, DHS SELC, or DHS PM certification preferred;
  • BS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field;
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Additionally, we provide SmartBenefits, tuition assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
