Job Title: Electric Propulsion System Integration Manager

Fincantieri Marine Group is seeking a highly skilled Electric Propulsion System Integration Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned engineer to lead our Electric Propulsion System Integration (EPSI) team. As the EPSI Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of electric propulsion systems into our shipbuilding projects. This includes working closely with our engineering teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the EPSI team, including direct supervision of up to 5 direct employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating electric propulsion systems into our shipbuilding projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure effective communication and delivery of high-quality products.
  • Manage and maintain integrated EPSI schedules, providing status and metrics for engineering leadership.
  • Attend and lead meetings as required to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience related to marine propulsion systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements associated with the shipbuilding industry.
  • Eligibility for a Security Clearance (U.S., Secret).
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong time management, complex problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with conducting system-level analysis and reviewing engineering documents.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills.
