As an Electrical Calibration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and reliability of various testing instruments across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities:- Calibrate a diverse range of testing devices in areas including:
- Electrical Systems
- Industrial Machinery
- Temperature Measurement Devices
- Conduct routine maintenance and verification of company standards as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
- Gather calibration data meticulously and document findings on appropriate data sheets. Complete certification processes, including addressing any out-of-tolerance situations.
- Engage in ongoing training related to Micro Precision Calibration Services and share insights and best practices with colleagues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards while performing tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Effectively communicate calibration challenges and procedures with clients and team members through various channels.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical and dimensional equipment is preferred.
- Experience with basic instrumentation and hand tools is advantageous.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Capability to work independently as well as under the guidance of Senior Technicians.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
We welcome applicants who are new to the calibration field and are eager to learn.
Work Environment:The role involves work in both the local laboratory and at client sites, with occasional travel required.
