Job Overview

As an Electrical Calibration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and reliability of various testing instruments across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate a diverse range of testing devices in areas including:
  1. Electrical Systems
  2. Industrial Machinery
  3. Temperature Measurement Devices
  • Conduct routine maintenance and verification of company standards as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Gather calibration data meticulously and document findings on appropriate data sheets. Complete certification processes, including addressing any out-of-tolerance situations.
  • Engage in ongoing training related to Micro Precision Calibration Services and share insights and best practices with colleagues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards while performing tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Effectively communicate calibration challenges and procedures with clients and team members through various channels.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical and dimensional equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with basic instrumentation and hand tools is advantageous.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Capability to work independently as well as under the guidance of Senior Technicians.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Training Opportunities:

We welcome applicants who are new to the calibration field and are eager to learn.

Work Environment:

The role involves work in both the local laboratory and at client sites, with occasional travel required.
