Job Description

The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of various instruments and equipment. This involves maintaining, testing, and calibrating these devices to ensure they perform correctly and provide reliable readings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate a range of test instruments, including electrical, dimensional, industrial/mechanical, temperature, RF/optical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure all instruments, meters, and test devices are calibrated correctly and perform accurate readings.
  • Comply with company policies, quality manuals, and internal work regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment preferred
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
  • Basic mathematics understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and under supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Work Environment

Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities, with up to 25% out-of-town, overnight travel.
