Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Calibration Technician to join our team at Micro Precision. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, including electrical equipment, industrial equipment, and temperature equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform standards maintenance and checking of company standards as assigned by the Lab Manager.
  • Collect calibration data and record information on data sheets, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Continue to be trained in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services and share gained knowledge with other team members.
  • Observe safety precautions and quality standards in the performance of tasks and comply with company policies.
  • Clearly communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers through various channels.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
  • Basic mathematics understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Work Environment

Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities, with up to 25% out-of-town, overnight travel.
