Position: Patient Intake Coordinator

Compensation: $18-20/hr.
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding of clients referred by healthcare providers, legal firms, and funding organizations by managing appointment scheduling through EClinicalWorks.
  • Engage with legal offices, the Marketing Director, and various departments within the practice to coordinate patient appointments with the designated physician.
  • Monitor and document requests received via phone, email, fax, and Referral MD.
  • Gather new patient information and medical documentation as required.
  • Confirm health insurance details when necessary.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations while scheduling urgent patient appointments.
  • Exhibit flexibility in arranging and rearranging patient appointments according to the appropriate categories.
  • Record all interactions in patient accounts accurately.
  • Undertake additional tasks as needed due to procedural or structural changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with EMR scheduling, specifically EClinicalWorks, is essential.
  • Background in Personal Injury is preferred.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Adept at multitasking.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in data entry tasks.
  • Familiarity with computers, fax machines, and other relevant technology.
