We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Clearance Supervisor to join our team at GetixHealth. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial clearance process, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients to review bills and explain outstanding balances
- Understand Explanation of Benefits and communicate with patients and guarantors
- Review patient accounts for potential insurance benefits or financial assistance eligibility
- Request necessary documents from clients for insurance billing or financial assistance approval
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation and updates in all required systems
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise Onsite Financial Clearance Specialists, Team Leads, and remote staff
- Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
- Recruit and hire additional staff as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Previous insurance/medical billing/customer service experience preferred
- Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
