Family Time Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Time Coordinator to join our team at the Oregon Department of Human Services. As a Family Time Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of Oregon's most vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with caseworkers to assess family time supervision needs and recommend services for case planning.
- Supervise family time visits in office or community settings, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
- Transport children to family time visits and other necessary appointments.
- Review family time agreements and guidelines with parents and caregivers, suggesting community resources as needed.
- Document relevant information and maintain accurate records.
- One year of experience assisting professionals in specialized social programs, or possession of a current certification in child development or a related field, or 45 quarter hours of college coursework in a relevant field.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with community partners, agency staff, clients, and impacted communities.
- Ability to adopt trauma-informed practices and understand their impact on the work.
- Cultural competence and ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
