Job Overview

The Jed Foundation is seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to fill the role of Vice President of School Programs Implementation. This position is critical in supporting the successful implementation and day-to-day operations of our high school, boarding school, district, and higher education programs, and their leaders and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the SVP to oversee day-to-day field operations of Academic Programs and the development, planning, and execution of strategies to implement our Comprehensive Approach in high schools, boarding schools, districts, and higher education institutions.
  • In close partnership with Academic Programs department heads, oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of program implementation at the regional and school levels, quality assurance, and customer/partner experience.
  • Ensure that programs maintain fidelity to our Comprehensive Approach while adapting to the unique needs of each institution.
  • Bridge program fidelity, implementation, and growth with a deep appreciation and understanding of all, leveraging JED assets to ensure success in each area.
Requirements
  • A seasoned and experienced leader of people and programs, with a minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience and a track record of success in executing complex projects and/or programs, strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of master's level training in education, educational leadership, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field preferred; LPC, MSW, MPH, MED, and established EdD, or PhD degree-holders are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong technical knowledge of what it takes to build and manage programs, specifically the implementation of technical assistance programs and/or consulting services, required.
  • Expertise, or the willingness to acquire expertise, in suicide prevention and mental health, especially as it pertains to work in secondary and K-12 education settings, relationships with partners and peer organizations, and JED's ability to access government funding for schools-based work.
Additional Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Excellent written communication with experience in drafting report-style formats, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience and comfort presenting to large groups, including senior leadership both internally and externally.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, including comfort with establishing new partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and a history of maintaining high partner engagement.
