The Jed Foundation is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to serve as Vice President of School Program Implementation. This critical role will play a key part in ensuring the successful implementation and day-to-day operations of our high school, boarding school, district, and higher education programs, as well as their leaders and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President to oversee day-to-day field operations of Academic Programs and develop strategies to implement our Comprehensive Approach in high schools, boarding schools, districts, and higher education institutions.
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of program implementation at the regional and school levels, quality assurance, and customer/partner experience.
- Ensure that programs maintain fidelity to our Comprehensive Approach while adapting to the unique needs of each institution.
- Bridge program fidelity, implementation, and growth with a deep appreciation and understanding of all, leveraging JED assets to ensure success in each area.
- A seasoned and experienced leader of people and programs, with a minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience and a track record of success in executing complex projects and/or programs.
- Minimum of master's level training in education, educational leadership, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field preferred; LPC, MSW, MPH, MED, and established EdD, or PhD degree-holders are encouraged to apply.
- Strong technical knowledge of what it takes to build and manage programs, specifically the implementation of technical assistance programs and/or consulting services.
- Expertise, or the willingness to acquire expertise, in suicide prevention and mental health, especially as it pertains to work in secondary and K-12 education settings, relationships with partners and peer organizations, and JED's ability to access government funding for schools-based work.
The Jed Foundation offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $178,000 per year, plus a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, mental health, and other benefits offered to permanent benefit-eligible employees.
This is a national, remote position with a preference for the NY/Tri-State Area. The role requires regular travel to conferences, internal meetings, and to the JED headquarters office in NYC (up to 25% travel).
