Director of Community Development and Fundraising

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our efforts in the Capital of Texas region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives to support our mission to end Alzheimer's disease.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy to increase revenue, expand our reach, and enhance our impact in the community.
- Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to build a robust network of supporters and advocates.
- Fundraising: Lead our fundraising efforts, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, and special events, to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of staff and volunteers to ensure effective execution of our programs and initiatives.
- Communication: Serve as a key spokesperson for the Alzheimer's Association, representing our organization in the community and with external stakeholders.
- Experience: At least 8 years of senior-level experience in non-profit management, with a proven track record of driving growth, community engagement, and fundraising success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Skills: Proven relationship-building, persuasion, and influence skills; ability to inspire and empower staff and volunteers; experience in recruiting and developing corporate and community partnerships.
