Position Overview:

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 5pm-9pm

The Cleaning Team Supervisor at Velociti Services plays a crucial role in overseeing a group of cleaning personnel in their daily tasks. This position is essential in ensuring that all areas are maintained to the high standards set by Velociti Services and our clients. The supervisor will be responsible for addressing client inquiries and specific requests, effectively communicating these to the cleaning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all cleaning staff, focusing on their performance regarding cleanliness standards and professional conduct.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills in verbal, written, and listening capacities.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, making the supervisor approachable and easy to work with.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organizational and coordination abilities for both personnel and their tasks.
  • Ensure the delivery of top-tier cleaning services across all worksite areas.
  • Review and manage work schedules efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels, and oversee the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee all cleaning activities to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Educate all staff on Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any disputes among staff members promptly.
  • Provide training for new hires.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as required.
  • Maintain open communication with management.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or conflicts.
  • Implement disciplinary measures and recognize employee achievements.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the worksite.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented individual with a positive demeanor and the ability to uplift team morale.
  • Prior experience in a cleaning environment is essential.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to established standards and procedures.
  • Capability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.

  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and MVR required.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants must be capable of:

  • Lifting boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Bending, squatting, and stretching to handle boxes and shipments.
  • Climbing small to medium flights of stairs multiple times daily.
  • Standing for extended periods.
