Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Host to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, ensure timely seating, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Certifications: ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus, alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) a plus.
