We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Technician to become part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in harvest operations including preparation, drying, shelling, and product unloading.
  • Execute various tasks related to plant, field, and warehouse operations, adapting to seasonal changes.
  • Monitor automated machinery for processes such as harvesting, conditioning, and packaging.
  • Conduct product sorting and return activities.
  • Participate in conditioning tasks including sizing, packaging, and palletizing.
  • Perform field duties such as inspections and logistics management.
  • Utilize technology and computerized systems for operational tasks.
  • Carry out warehouse functions including forklift operation and sample collection.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED or commitment to obtain GED within twelve months of employment.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, and lifting up to fifty pounds.
  • Proficient with technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime during peak production periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in operations, manufacturing, or agriculture.
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment.

Work Authorization:

  • This position does not offer VISA sponsorship or a domestic relocation package.
