Job Title: Converting Operator

We are seeking a skilled Converting Operator to join our team at Pregis. As a Converting Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our converting lines, producing high-quality products that meet or exceed our manufacturing and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and stage necessary materials for the converting operation
  • Set up and operate converting lines to produce finished products
  • Remove excess trim scrap and dispose of it properly
  • Meet or exceed production quantity and quality standards
  • Perform quality checks and enter data electronically
  • Assist on or operate other converting or manufacturing equipment as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work instructions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and write in English
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to moving equipment and potential hazards
  • Inside work with potential heat and humidity
  • Noise levels may exceed 85dB+
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent standing, stooping, and squatting
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Frequent typing and preparing documents
