Job Summary

The Metropolitan Council is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst 2 or 3 to join our team. As a key member of our Material Management department, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and execution of all technological, reporting, and analysis processes utilized by the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage departmental-specific Supply Chain Operational Technology (OT), Information Technology (IT), and associated capabilities.
  • Ensure uptime and efficiency of departmental analysis server (Windows Server 2012R2).
  • Manage all departmental technology procurement processes and refreshes/leases (e.g., laptops, printers, etc.).
  • Develop and implement solutions to address process, workflow, or data integration gaps.
  • Lead large-scale departmental business system implementation projects from end-to-end.
Requirements
  • Any of the following combinations of progressively responsible experience in management analysis and business systems administration, or related experience in a Business Analyst capacity.
  • Completed education in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Supply Chain Management (purchasing, operations management, and logistics), Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working and collaborating in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environments.
  • At least two (2) years or more experience utilizing and interpreting various coding languages and SQL to support business systems, projects, analysis, reporting, and operational processes.
