We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Based Therapist to join our team at Child & Family Focus, Inc.
About the Role
- As a Family Based Therapist, you will work in a two-person clinical team to deliver high-quality family therapy and resource coordination services.
- You will use your expertise to engage young people and their family members in addressing complex family-systems issues.
- Your caseload will consist of 6 to 8 young people (ages 4-18) and their family members, requiring you to maintain a high level of organization and time management.
- You will attend training in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy and participate in weekly supervision with licensure supervision hours provided at no cost.
- Responsibilities will include meeting with clients and their families at least twice a week to provide individual, family therapy, and sibling/parent treatment as needed.
- You will also make referrals for appropriate supportive services and maintain client files, including timely completion of case notes and treatment plans.
- As a Family Based Therapist, you will be required to provide paid emergency on-call duties as scheduled in rotation with other team members.
- You will be expected to implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices - Safety, Trustworthiness, Choice, Collaboration, & Empowerment.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in counseling, family therapy, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic setting (relevant internship experiences may be considered).
