About the Role:We are seeking a Mobile Therapist to provide services in and around Montgomery County, PA. As a Mobile Therapist, you will be responsible for developing, writing, and directing the implementation of therapeutic support plans for students experiencing mental health struggles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement therapeutic support plans for students experiencing mental health struggles
- Provide consultation with family, school, and community members
- Assess referred students and families for needs and refer to other providers as needed
- Provide de-escalation and counseling to students in crisis and emotional distress
- Offer group and individual counseling as needed
- Conduct assessments and design behavior/crisis plans
- Design, implement, and monitor behavioral modification plans as needed
- Participate in the Student Assistance Program (SAP) as needed
- Master's degree related to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field
- Hold a license as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
- Have a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults
