Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating the new hire process, maintaining employment records, and providing support during open enrollment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire process, including distributing exit interviews and tracking responses.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain up-to-date employment records and personnel files, including processing personnel actions and inputting employment information into our HR Information System.
  • Benefits Administration: Provide support during open enrollment, serve as a benefits specialist for employee populations, and process benefits changes in a timely manner.
  • Payroll and Timekeeping: Assure proper authorization of payroll actions, validate and organize payroll checks, and input employee work schedules into our workforce timekeeper system.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain applicable records for state and federal reporting, distribute exceptions reports to supervisors, and prepare management reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: One year of Human Resources, payroll, or clerical experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing required.
  • Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
