Human Resources Coordinator Job Description

As a Human Resources Coordinator at our client's Distribution Center, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive HR support to their employees. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a positive workplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and safeguard confidential information while performing complex administrative functions.
  • Oversee and support various HR programs, including new hire onboarding, benefits orientation, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Prepare and compile information for diverse reports and maintain accurate employee and company records.
  • Provide administrative support to department leadership and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of current administrative experience in customer-facing roles (both internal and external).
  • 2+ years of HR experience with a solid grasp of HR terminology and processes.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, judgment, and a thorough understanding of company policies and employment laws.
  • Proven capability to multitask effectively and produce precise, timely results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of a keyboard and mouse.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of materials/products up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a multi-temperature warehouse environment, including freezers, coolers, and dry storage areas, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, and flexibility with overtime are essential to this role.
