Patient Support Liaison

The Patient Support Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and service to OrthoRI patients. As the first point of contact, this individual will be responsible for answering and triaging incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and managing consult requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide positive and clear communication to patients, ensuring a positive impression of the organization
- Accurately schedule appointments and manage appointment protocols
- Register patients efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with the eligibility team to verify insurance benefits and deductibles
- Triage patients and schedule them accordingly
- Utilize various EMRs, including Centricity, SRS, Phoenix, and AllMeds
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and typing skills
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to converse and hear regularly. The employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
