Position Details

Under the guidance of the Call Center Supervisor, the Crisis Call Center Clinician will manage incoming calls from youth and families experiencing psychological distress. This role involves ensuring safety, gathering essential triage information, and coordinating the dispatch of appropriate clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Crisis Management

  • Maintain professionalism during crisis interactions with all parties involved.
  • Promote teamwork through effective communication.
  • Engage callers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Utilize critical thinking to assess calls and assign clinicians.

Case Coordination

  • Assist the MRSS team in managing cases for assessments and follow-up services.
  • Ensure proper documentation is communicated to relevant teams.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and quality assurance measures.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation.

Data Management

  • Input necessary documentation into the relevant systems.
  • Support programmatic needs and outcome evaluations.

Work Environment: Office-based, with a focus on crisis intervention.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in the mental health sector.
  • Experience in call center or emergency services is advantageous.
