Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled professional with robust manufacturing expertise, particularly in Siemens NX CAD/CAM and CNC programming. The ideal candidate will thrive in both workshop and office settings, demonstrating comfort with advanced CNC machinery. This position provides the chance to engage in individual projects as well as collaborate with team members to achieve high-quality machining of composite components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee production processes, including tooling and equipment. Ensure design specifications are validated and effectively applied on the shop floor for new products, tools, or equipment. This includes collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Enhance knowledge within your technical field to support policy and strategy execution. May involve specialized technical support roles while continuing to develop higher-level skills.
  • Understand key business drivers to effectively accomplish tasks. Recognize how your team's work integrates with others and contributes to overall objectives.
  • Possess some decision-making autonomy within a defined framework. Address issues requiring solid technical knowledge and judgment, consulting senior team members for guidance on complex matters.
  • This role necessitates strong interpersonal skills and may involve leading junior team members. For customer-facing roles, build strong relationships and serve as the liaison between the customer and the organization, clearly conveying technical information.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM modeling.
Preferred Attributes
  • Extensive experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM manufacturing.
  • Experience in 3D tooling design and fabrication is advantageous.
  • Proficient in CNC programming with a strong operational background in CNC equipment.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens machine controls.
  • Experience in grinding and milling is a plus.
