Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee production workflows, including tooling and machinery. Ensure design specifications are met and applied effectively on the shop floor for new products, tools, or equipment. This includes collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Enhance knowledge within the technical field to support policy and strategy execution. May involve specialized support roles while still developing higher-level expertise.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of key business drivers; leverage this knowledge to fulfill individual responsibilities. Recognize how team efforts integrate with broader organizational objectives.
  • Exercise some degree of autonomy in decision-making within established guidelines. Address challenges requiring solid technical acumen and judgment, consulting senior team members for complex issues.
  • This role necessitates strong interpersonal skills and may involve leading junior staff. For client-facing positions, cultivate strong customer relationships and act as the liaison between clients and the organization. Communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM modeling.
Preferred Attributes
  • Extensive experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM manufacturing.
  • Experience in 3D tooling design and fabrication is advantageous.
  • Deep expertise in CNC programming.
  • Strong operational background with CNC equipment.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens machine controls.
  • Experience in grinding and milling is a plus.
